Blackhawks seems to be their opening night roster.

The Hawks jersey sent forward Alexandre Fortin back to his junior team, sent to the keeper, Ivan Nalimov back to the KHL, and put Andrew Desjardins injured reserve Monday. Both Brandon Mashinter and Mark McNeill scored waivers on Monday, according to TSN. If they are removed, they will be sent to Rockford.

This would leave the Hawks with a maximum of 23 players - 13 forwards, eight defenders and two goalkeepers. This means that rookies Nick Schmaltz, Tyler Motte, Vinnie Hinostroza, Ryan Hartman and Gustav Forsling all have made the team, as well as the 26-year-old Czech import Michal Kempny.

Desjardins was injured in the third period to prevent the shot in Saturday's preseason finale. Quenneville said he will have four to six weeks.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-2581057553496261052016-10-08T08:33:00.001-07:002016-10-08T08:33:33.432-07:00Chicago Blackhawks Morning Links- So Much For That

Good morning Chicago Blackhawks fans! The Chicago Blackhawks have not created the trade that is supposed to be a fact, and low and behold, it was the Blue rival St. Louis who pulled the trigger for manicure Yakupov.

The Chicago Blackhawks Jerseys are believed to be ready to trade the lost 1st round draft pick Nail Yakupov if you believe the rumors on Thursday, but I think most fans of the Hawks had almost a sigh of relief that do not end to make a move to get Yakupov.

Let's really think about it, the only person who would have liked on the list is Joel Quenneville who likes the puck possession, confidence and speed and Yakupov has only one of these characteristics and oh by the way does not play defense .

So having said that the big winner in this trade does not have to be the current outlook Chicago Blackhawks that seem to be increasingly a player on the active list.

Of course, the question has to be where the boys are boys and go, and the thing is the Chicago Blackhawks last preseason game could be the yardstick for the final exam.

The good news is that the Chicago Blackhawks last preseason game tonight is that of course means that the opening night is just around the corner. The other night all the young Blackhawks prospects looked good, the question is you can take it tonight's contest.
REVIEW 2015/16
When Lord Stanley became the perennial waiting for a team, no less, it can be devastating. Just ask any Blackhawks fan who witnessed the St. Louis Blues eliminated in the first round of the playoffs last year. This suppression of contention was followed by an active offseason in which we saw several renowned players leave Chi-town. Do these movements leads the Hawks have a better chance or worse to hoist the Cup this year? Let's find out.

BEST LINES OF LAST YEAR
Artemi Panarin - Artem Anisimov - Patrick Kane
Andrew Shaw - Jonathon Toews - Marian Hossa
Richard Panik - Marcus Kruger - Ryan Hartman
Andrew Desjardin - Nick Schmaltz - Teuvo Teravainen

Duncan Keith - Brent Seabrook

Brian Campbell - Niklas Hjalmasson
Michal Kempny - Trevor van Riemsdyk

Corey Crawford

Losing Shaw is sure to disappoint Hawks fans, but it was inevitable. With Panarin intensify and proves to be most reliable winger left the team, losing Shaw was not as debilitating as anticipated. The real question is whether the team can afford to move Hossa to the front line Kane, both have shown a clear link to various points throughout the season last year. The team definitely has a more balanced offense with Hossa now the second line, but it is hard to argue with the type of production that both attackers are able to while playing together.

LINES PLANNED FOR 2016/17
Artemi Panarin - Artem Anisimov - Patrick Kane
Richard Panik - Jonathon Toews - Marian Hossa
Ryan Hartman - Marcus Kruger - Ryan Garbutt
Andrew Desjardin - Nick Schmaltz - Viktor Tikhonov

Duncan Keith - Brent Seabrook
Brian Campbell - Trevor Daley
Michal Kempny - Niklas Hjalmarsson

Corey Crawford

The additions of Garbutt and Daley certainly add much needed depth to the Hawks team, allowing Joel Quenneville a little extra space for creativity when designing the lines. This team enters the season with aspirations of the Stanley Cup, with the cornerstones of their dynasty still rooted in Chicago, it's hard to imagine any of the trips made this offseason derail such an ambition.

The most important development to follow to enter the season remains the health Duncan Keith. Keith retired from playing in the World Cup for rehabbing his right knee which underwent a meniscus tear last season. It should be ready for the start of the season, but that could easily change if the medical staff worry about him re-injure the knee.

According vegasinsiders.com, the Hawks are still the favorites to win the Stanley Cup, according to bookmakers. If anything, the team has improved this season, especially in relation to their long-term aspirations. That said, the NHL is as competitive as ever, so any playoff series they earn will be well deserved.

MY PREDICTION
Hawks lose the Anaheim Ducks in the finals of the Western Conference, after another 100-point season.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-10999473386818859972016-09-28T07:07:00.001-07:002016-09-28T07:07:03.930-07:00World Cup of Hockey: Team Canada's favourite Team Canadas

This Team Canada looks pretty good at the World Cup of Hockey Jersey. They play Team Europe tonight with a chance to keep the record of the national senior male team spotless.

But are they the best team ever Canada?

In 1987, Mario Lemieux, Wayne Gretzky group that won the Canada Cup is probably my favorite, closely followed by the 1976 group, which won the first Canada Cup with a fantastic performance of Bobby Orr in what was essentially the swan song of the great defender.

1972 Canada Summit Series offered good memories and historical moments, but the team was flawed because it lacked Orr due to injuries and other like Bobby Hull, because they had defected to the WHA.

There is so much to love: The 2002 Olympians ended a gold medal drought in 50 years, beating the Americans on American soil. The Olympians won in 2010 on the floor of the house dramatically. 2014 Olympians won in Russia.
Breakaway sitting with a handful of members of the latter to ask them who their favorite team was Canada. There was really no wrong answer.
Jonathan Toews: Salt Lake City 2002

"He appears to me, my favorite players growing up were Joe Sakic, Steve Yzerman. I remember him scoring the big goal to go up 4-2 or 5-2 in the Olympic Games in Salt Lake City. It was a good memory for me. I'm pumped enough to see them win this one. "

Matt Duchene: World Championship 2015

"Our team of Sochi was pretty dominant, which was pretty special to play. I think in terms of dominant performance, our world championship team two years ago. We scored more than 60 goals in the tournament. He was ridiculous. That was a tournament at the start, we knew how we were, we played Sweden, we are 3-0 after the first 10 minutes, we're like, okay: we .. as well as we think we are the type of thing we end up back, scoring six goals and win 6-4. He was like, okay, we're as good as we think we are. This was probably the most dominant team I played on. This was not on-Best- better. But still, I played in this tournament five times, and the first three times we were in the quarterfinals. It's a tough tournament to win and we rode through pretty good. "

Jay Bouwmeester. World Juniors 1991

The only memory I have Eric Lindros played in Saskatoon. Play the Russians. John Slaney scored a goal, and for some reason, that sticks. And the Olympic Games in Salt Lake. This was a big problem. I was playing junior, and I remember watching this tournament. It was a big problem when Canada won. It helped that Belarus beat the Swedes.

Logan Couture, Salt Lake 2002

That remember the most was in 2002, Salt Lake City. This is the one I watched. They lost in 1998 in the shooting, and come back and win, and beat the States in the U.S.A. is pretty special.

TORONTO - Team Europe, listed in Las Vegas as a 33-1 long shot to win the World Cup of Hockey, is now just two wins away from making that happen.

Detroit Red Wings forward Tomas Tatar scored his second goal of the game 3 minutes, 43 seconds in overtime to give Europe a 3-2 win against Sweden and a place in the best of three rounds of the championship series the tournament against Canada.

"We said from the beginning, 'Play for your country," said the European coach Ralph Krueger. "When you hear the Swedish hymn, it is yours. When you hear the Czech anthem, it is yours. When you hear the Canadian anthem, it is yours. And the players have bought into it. Play together, play together with the puck, play together without the puck, fight for each other, but play for your country, and it took us a long way. "

Europeans are still considered a long shot as they head into Game 1 of the finals Tuesday (20 pm ET, ESPN).

"It's a different animal, we will face," European forward Marian Hossa said about Canada Hockey Jersey. "Everybody has to dig deep to succeed against this team. There is a next game and we're just trying to prepare ourselves against them and play a strong defensive game and you never know."

This is a team that has been dug deep since training camp began.

Europeans were supposed to be at a disadvantage during the Hockey World Cup because their average age was over 30, they had no history of playing together and had no nationalistic reason to unify a team. They looked on synchronization, and too slow, against the team 23 years old in North America in two games before the tournament.

Then they understood how they needed to play to win. They succeed by managing the puck and play defense to the best of their ability. Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi played 29 minutes against the Swedes and the Los Angeles Kings Anze Kopitar played before more than 22 minutes.

"So many players in this room understand what it takes to win at the highest level, to win at the Stanley Cup, and they have never been able to do it with a team within a team concept national or in a tournament of this nature, "said Krueger. "Once we had conversations go, it was great to experience the process."

Tatar had not scored in the first three games of the tournament, and was not satisfied with the way he played in a loss to Canada.

"I hoped that I would have the opportunity to swing a game and I'm lucky it happened today," said Tatar.

What is the secret of Team Europe?

"No secret," said the central Sweden Henrik Sedin. "They are a good team. I do not know who do not expect much from them, but if you look at their team, they are built with very good players. "

Europeans never lost faith even after the goal from defenseman Erik Karlsson, with 4:32 left in regulation, the score tied.

"We just said," We need to calm down and play our game. ' "Said Tatar.

The strength of this team has been the ability of his teammates to bind together quickly. "A good locker room," said Tatar. We have fun. Everyone is making jokes and we really like a family there. "

Jaroslav Halak European guardian of the New York Islanders made 37 saves against the Swedes. "We would not be here without fantastic goalkeepers," said Krueger.

The Europeans are so confident that they do not exclude anything.

"The story continues," said Tatar. "We know and respect Canada and how good they are, but we are together and we will fight together for a win."Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-54091209283895828672016-09-24T06:59:00.004-07:002016-09-24T06:59:45.266-07:00Team USA ends group play at World Cup of Hockey winless

TORONTO - Team USA's 4-3 loss to the Czech Republic in their final World Cup match put a frame around the most disappointing performance of the tournament the Americans since 1998 Olympics, when an unexpected early exit led to players trashing rooms in the Olympic village.

The US group had no problems off the ice, but the Americans were 0-3 in the tournament and were outscored 11-5 in the losses.

"It's really disappointing for a team that cares so much," said defenseman Jack Johnson, who played for the US national team 11 times.

Before the tournament began, most forecasters, the Czechs had pegged as the worst team in the tournament. But the Toronto Maple Leafs player Milan Michalek scored a pair of goals to lead the Czechs their first victory in the tournament.

Tampa Bay Lightning defender Andrej Sustr scored from the side of the net, which seemed to seep through USA goalie Ben Bishop. Another dozen Czech Republic was on the goal that was eliminated in the American network using replacement captain Ryan Suter.

It was the kind of tournament for the Americans, who never seemed to find their confidence.

"I think (loss) demonstrates how we played in the tournament," he said US forward Justin Abdelkader. "We had too many mistakes and were enlarged. Teams took advantage."

Abdelkader said any criticism directed coach John Tortorella is not in place. "It's up to the player," he said. "... He did a great job of getting us ready. It's a great motivator. It's a coach who is really passionate and it comes out each and every time he speaks. It (came) down to players does not perform."

Americans had a power play in the final moments against the Czechs and was unable to convert. They pulled their goalie but nothing worked for the Americans in this tournament.

"We had a difficult time scoring," Johnson said. We passed a lot of shots. Guys were trying to play. It's just disappointing that it did not happen for us. "

It was like that in 1998 as well. The Americans were considered one of the favorites to win the tournament since winning the World Cup 1996. But the Americans went 1-2 in the preliminary round and then lost to Dominik Hasek-lead the Czech team in the quarterfinals.

No one was picking the Americans to win the World Cup, but the Americans were expected to reach the semifinals. Instead, it will join Finland as the only winless teams in the tournament.

Tortorella said he thought his players played hard against the Czechs.

"I did not put (this game) sense," said Tortorella. "The players felt that. None of us with team USA is satisfied with what happened here. But I thought our guys gathered together here a little bit, and that's what we talked about in terms of all the things going on around the team and the organization of USA hockey, let's just try to play the game for ourselves. we came up short. "

Tortorella warned against overreacting to three losses against elite competition ..

"I think you have to be really careful not to lose your mind in terms of what's happening with some guys," said Tortorella. "It's a different type of tournament. We've just got to slow yourself down and dissect what happened. This is definitely not good. But not to the extent (which would warrant) to the chatter around her."

Tortorella said USA Hockey needs to "block out noise and reassess where we did, and we'll see what we can do to make us better."Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-86885079136500438802016-09-22T08:37:00.004-07:002016-09-22T08:37:42.539-07:00Matthews’ best-on-best arrival reminiscent of Lindros in 1991

World Cup Hockey Matthews aùsto reason to be in the spotlight for all the big ones is what he did not do: to fit in a regular season NHL game.

That will come soon enough.

Point-a-game through two World Cup games, as a player, even to go to the net hard with his goal against Russia on Monday night that he will give a fella a tap-ins Connor MCDAVID finish line.

It gives you a little bit, but in 1991 made an even bigger jump than Eric Lindros Matthews. When the man-child of eight points in the original Hockey Canada Cup in Canada in 1991, No.1 pick of the Quebec Nordiques in the Memorial Cup on the heels of the leader of the Oshawa Generals was just after a few months.

"It is a great honor to represent your country at this stage," says Lindros, who will be honored with induction to the Hockey Hall of Fame in November. "I have great wins in this situation ... there is so much more high-end guys to hang out with a better learning environment."

There was no category after U23. Big E on the merits of the big team, head coach Mike Keenan before his team was whittled to 50-man training camp that two separate groups of Canada's best players from the morning skate.

"He tryouts, that's what it felt like," recalls Leafs president Brendan Shanahan, the youngest guests but still Lindros older than four years, at the end of his centreman. "Did you know they were going to be Gretzky and Messier, but we knew there were places for the rest of us to win."

It seemed unlikely to have as much as a 18-year-old from the junior squad could earn a spot on Team Canada, those doubts were erased early in the process.

"The first day was a group of Eric different than me, and I arrived a young guy, everybody thought it was impressive, and its size and the speed," says Shanahan.

Even 25 years later, most imposing Lindros skill, size and strength of a package never stepped on the ice.

'No.1 pick on the pound.

"You can almost feel him when he was coming on the ice," Shanahan said Lindros. "There were a great player like him, but his speed and his ability to hit a turnover into a goal? There was not a lot of players like that."

Did he ever think of her bones and safe-cracker sounds hits combination of hands would take a while to gain traction in a training camp featuring the biggest names in the NHL?

"Not really," Lindros said with a laugh.

"I've played that I normally play, there was [some trepidation], sure, let's go. But in the summer of pros I'd skated when I was 14 and 15, which helped give me an idea."

Lindros felt welcome veteran stars, referring to the likes of Chicago Blackhawks stars Steve Larmer and Dirk Graham for helping him understand what was playing Keenan.

A few veterans who did not make the team a spot in the last few comments of a boy lost in a contract dispute was about and could still be in high school. They were happy to have him in the team for coming.

"He was immediately accepted by all the players is still to win a tournament, and the player who is 18 or 40 can help you win, it will be welcome in the dressing room," says Shanahan. "That's changing how they operate."

Not that Lindros was not wowed at the invitation of the game's most cherished into the sanctums.

"I remember walking into Maple Leaf Gardens was the first camp and the Leafs dressing room and I spent about an hour, walking from stall to stall, just looking at the names," says Lindros, now 43 years old father of three. "You're not just shock. It was a big deal."

It does not take him long to get up to speed. After the team, his first goal in his second game with a power play quite Luc Robitaille that helped spark from Wayne Gretzky won 6-3 by the United States.

It was an important result because of the flat had been in Canada a 2-2 tie with Finland in the tournament opener, he had a message to get across Keenan Helicoptering stick into the stands by the next practice, something that probably will not be this year TNA coach Todd McLellan repertoire.

"Nobody was spared," Lindros said, again laughing at the memory of his famous woeful Keenan. "It was a good trainer. We were very well prepared and in good shape. It was fun all the way through."

The only downer for Lindros was, as the clock struck midnight when it was finished; As an over-sized Cinderella back to OHL hockey was the most exciting prospect he waited in vain while Quebec's trading.

"Yes," says Lindros Gretzky on the power play after playing back to Oshawa. "It was an interesting year."

This is not a problem in Matthews will encounter. He will transition to the World Cup, and playing against the best on the planet, his first NHL franchise in the deepest resources of the camp where the sport will spare nothing to make sure he reaches his great potential.

Lindros playing best-on-best before the Hart Trophy in his first NHL game on a 100-point seasons and Hall-of-Fame portended. As the star-crossed his path as they finished with the Canada Cup was anything seemed possible moment to make that hockey is a dynamic talent never seen before or since.

It is in that respect Matthews teenager at the turn of the usual best-on-best hockey in the past 25 years has carved a trail before Lindros.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-22170616918059112952016-09-21T08:01:00.000-07:002016-09-21T08:01:08.794-07:00Team Canada eliminates U.S. in World Cup of Hockey

Patrick Kane and his fellow Team USA Hockey Jersey team knew they were scheduled to cross with Team Canada power during the preliminary round of the World Cup of Hockey.

What they did not expect was the confrontation that happens to them is teetering on the brink of elimination. But that was the situation Tuesday night when Team Canada skated to a 4-2 win at the Air Canada Centre. All that remains now is to make travel plans across the border.

"Two games here and that's it," Kane said. "It's just amazing. It's crazy how hockey is."

The loss not only ended the US search to reach the semifinal round also questions about the direction of the program. Before the game, the US team coach John Tortorella called the showdown with Canada "a great opportunity for US hockey."

If it was, it was a lost opportunity.

Meanwhile, there is no doubt that Canada addresses: For the semifinals. a record of 2-0 is maintained in Group A, while the US He fell to 0-2 and will play a meaningless game against the Czech Republic on Thursday night before going home. Thanks to the victory of Canada, Team Europe - with extreme hawks Marian Hossa - also advanced to the semifinals which begin Saturday night.

Matt Duchene scored twice and Corey Perry and Patrice Bergeron each added a goal to provide the offense for Team Canada goalie Carey Price. The US, which actually took an early lead with a goal by Ryan McDonagh, could not get much going from there to T. J. Oshie scored in the final moments.

It was another failure by the US internationally, who fought for the silver medal at the Olympic Winter Games 2010 in Vancouver before finishing fourth at the '14 Games in Sochi, Russia. In these two tournaments, Canada took home gold.

"(In) 2010 were close and (that) we felt increasing," Patrick Kane Jersey said. "In 2014, we had a great round of all against all, great game quarter-final and then lose by one goal (to Canada in the semifinals). You play the next day on a back of back-to-and end up giving with 5 -0 loss (Finland). it's definitely frustrating American being and have these opportunities and have nothing to show for it. "

In the aftermath, much was made about the composition of the American list, including the choice of Tortorella as coach. But Kane defended both, particularly Tortorella.

"Tortorella is just one of the most exciting guys I've seen about hockey," Kane said. "I will never say anything bad about him. He's just a great coach. We did not presented to him. I feel bad in that sense, of course."

The favorite to win the tournament on home soil, Canada has not deterred in their march to the final. Is there a possible showdown with Team Sweden Hockey Jersey looms. The Swedes continued their strong play with a 2-0 win over Finland team earlier today. He moved to Sweden 2-0 in Group B and Finland fell to 0-2.

The goalie Henrik Lundqvist, the first game of the tournament was lost Sweden with a disease, he returned and made 36 saves to earn the shutout.

"We knew the importance of this game and we played very smart, played hard," Lundqvist said. "We knew that the Finns would come out and be very desperate. I felt like we played with good structure and it really helped me get comfortable out there."Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-61566234343943152402016-09-19T08:33:00.001-07:002016-09-19T08:33:51.141-07:00Sweden holds off Russia in World Cup of Hockey

Los Angeles (AFP) - Sweden withstood a late return of the offer Alex Ovechkin Russian team to win 2-1 Sunday as each team opened their account in the World Cup of Hockey in Toronto.

Ovechkin thought he had the goal with 8.2 seconds left in the third period equalizer, but game officials ruled that it intended because he batted the puck into the net with his hand.

Video review confirmed the call on the ice.

For Russia, it was a disappointing opening the two-week tournament, eight teams with a wealth of the best players in the National Hockey League.

Captain of the Washington Capitals Ovechkin, always looking for his first crown of the Stanley Cup from the NHL at age 31, had a distinct lack of success in a Russian jersey in these "best best over-" events.

He won three gold medals with Russia at the World Championship, but the event overlaps the playoffs and NHL do not have all the best players in the elite league.

NHL players began participating in the Olympics in 1998 and Russia has never won gold, silver in 1998 and bronze in 2002. The Russians rebounded from their home Winter Games in Sochi in 2014 in the quarterfinals.

With the commitment of the NHL to do all the best players available for future Olympics hesitant, restarted the World Cup may be the best chance for Ovechkin to prove he can lead Russia to a title in a tournament setting featuring the world's best.

Ovechkin scored on a wrist shot in traffic with 33 seconds in the third period to cut the deficit to 2-1.

Team Sweden goalie Jacob Markstrom, starting in place of the ill Henrik Lundqvist made 27 saves and forward Gabriel Landeskog and defenseman Victor Hedman scored less than three minutes apart in the second period to challenge Sweden to an advance of 2 -0.

Landeskog scored a powerplay goal at 10:41, four seconds into the man-advantage.

Hedman scored on a power supply of the left wing Carl Hagelin at 24:52.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-87158799047139547292016-09-18T11:31:00.003-07:002016-09-18T11:31:42.720-07:00Team USA already on brink at World Cup of Hockey after shutout loss

TORONTO - The IIHF World Championship is only one game old and already the tournament life of the US team is in danger of being completed.

After shaking their 3-0 European teams in the first match in the eight-team tournament, the Americans will likely have to beat Canada on Tuesday and the Czech Republic on Thursday to qualify for the semi-finals. It is possible for the Americans to go with only one victory, but it would require an unlikely combination of circumstances.

"This is a must win for us," USA Hockey Jersey center Derek Stepan said. "Maybe it's a good thing. ... We have a little bit of adversity and we have to our level and to our game."

The Americans entered the tournament wishing to establish a physical presence, it will be difficult to play against, and not let the opponent to disrupt their game plan. They did control the puck against the European team, but they are not intimidated by the Europeans and the Americans seemed stymied when Europeans rolled into a protective shell.

"For some reason, our readings were a step behind today," Stepan said.

Team Europe has eight players from countries that do not have a team in the tournament. But the strangeness does not slow them down, and that was how they played together for several months, and not two weeks.

"We understand that we can not run and shoot with the teams and stay patient and wait for our chance to survive and help our goalkeeper out - maybe it's not the flashiest (approach) - is actually quite boring, but it works." center Team Europe said Kopitar, who plays for the Los Angeles Kings.

The Americans put 35 shots on goaltender Europe Galak (New York Islanders), while Jonathan Quick faced only 17 shots.

"I will never question the level of effort," Stepan said. "When it comes to Xs and Os, there were times we were a little late, perhaps, our speed and our mind was not quite there. When you're a step behind at any level you want to give up the sights and have a good chance Washers going It ends up in the back of your network. "

The second goal in Europe, Leon Draisaitl (Edmonton Oilers), came to break the 2-on-0 after Patrick Kane lost the puck while skating at the top of European Zone team.

"I will take the blame on that one," Kane said. "This is a game I made a million times in my career. Just kind of lost the puck and the next thing you know, they go down 2 to 0. This is unacceptable to me."

Stepan appeared to score a goal late in the second period, which would reduce the deficit to 2-1, but the replay officials are not allowed to, because they have seen, James van Riemsdyk glove the puck forward to the goal, before he jumped from Stepan, and at the gate.

"When I saw it on the screen on the bench one point of view, I thought he did move his arm to knock it in," said US coach John Tortorella. "The bottom line is, I think he hit STEP helmet. But then I looked at the other point of view (van Riemsdyk) just rolls around in it. I think that's the goal. First of all, no matter what he did. (puck) hit the helmet (Stepan), before it goes into the net, so I think it should be the goal. "

Tortorella scratched defender Baflin, and it seems likely that he will be back in the lineup against Canada.

"This is not a marathon, as the coaches are always talking about the NHL season is a sprint," said Tortorella "We put ourselves in a place we are now chasing -... We're chasing the tournament It is a spot we wanted to be. This is a very dangerous place, but we're here. we just need to stick together and not to blow yourself up. "

Canadians are the favorites, but they are not invincible. Americans divided Canadians in the two games before the tournament.

Stepan said: "I think everyone was wanting to this game (against Canada) will now."Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7437025077629640119.post-45284044519290564672016-09-17T08:30:00.000-07:002016-09-17T08:30:09.494-07:00Team North America ready to impress at World Cup of Hockey

Toronto - Todd McClellan, overlooking his team North American bench, we look at the array of talent that would have any hockey scouts drool.

The first of the overall shooting captain Connor in the NHL draft in 2015 McDavid is, first pick Auston Matthews (2016) of the fellow, Aaron Ekblad (2014), Nathan MacKinnon (2013) and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins (2011 ) has led the squad contains.

Jonathan Drouin, Jack Eichel, Johnny Gaudreau, John Gibson, Seth Jones, Matt Murray, Morgan Rielly, when you add a mark Scheifele Jacob Trouba, we have a team of young stars of the full World Cup.

In addition, the squad coaching of NHL has a different challenge.

Team of "NHL is, standing all of the power play, but 21 people on the board to put their feet is not in there, McClellan told to lead the work Edmonton Oilers of" that day. "all over here they are already ice, it you've got to put them in the 15 back to the players of the bench."

, It is a non-legitimate entry in the young skilled high-speed, team North American ice hockey World Cup. However, the United States and Canada hybrid team under the promise of players 23 Noto is worth a look.

Connor McDavid forward team North America Edmonton Oilers will attend the media availability for the hockey World Cup in Toronto on September 15, 2016.

In all of the games at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Monday and before that Russia will face Sweden on Wednesday, young open play Sunday against Finland.

North America, breaking the European 4-0 and 7-4, losing 3-2 to the Czech Republic, went to 2-1-0 in the exhibition hall.

In recent years because many of the people of the squad that played against each other in a variety of international level, already on the ice, was impressed by the pace.

"I think their speed is noticeable. They are confident," Canada captain Sidney Crosby, spoke at Thursday's media day. "I am a maximum of 2 they are probably to you to realize I think those of. and it is their age, in order that they do have a success, you are a no confidence and obviously skill does not have it. they are good it combination it has. and, because I have them, but not much to respect your opponent, you do not think I must be prepared for them. "

McClellan of the 48-year-old says his young team pose a risk to both ends of the ice.

"I am a one way fast, exciting team. And we can pretty exciting to go the other way. So they are a part of it of the risk reward wearing on tournament as are, have them understand what is going to become a real important.

"We are giving a better chance of victory to us, if you can down it to the 7 or 8, we will, if if you have to abandon the 10 dangerous play night, we, limit the risk can."

It blocks the shot, has been included persuade his young star to take care of the pack.

"They are thoroughbred. They want to run," McClellan said.

Relation

That tell a little lie about injuries, frequently it occurs in international play
I grew up doing team in North America is still
Why team in North America has been very good
Players do not wear the coat of arms of their country, but they have been joined. Matthews, punish hard-line defense in the cross-check, it took objection to Pollack of hit Rome in McDavid in the exhibition loss to the Czech Republic.

"Come everyone really well together," Nugent Hopkins says. "We are as we go along, I feel more like a team."

McClellan, the plan while holding them responsible, says that was to provide sufficient structure to play freely the young star.

"Our team is going to play with some of the risk," he said. "It is a fun to watch them do it. But we it so we can have a success, in certain areas of the ice, it can be restricted to a specific time of the game Do you?

"That is what we are here. We are here to win. However, I players look forward to it, you want to play to their strengths."

So far, so good.

"We it is the explosion, rather than the contract negotiations with the" flame, happy Gaudreau to talk of hockey, he said.

Edmonton team North American Ryan Nugent-Hopkins of the Oilers, you can attend the media availability for the hockey World Cup in Toronto on September 15, 2016.

McDavid is referred to as the start of the tournament, it was the end game of the age of 4-0 or 7-4.

"This whole tournament is going to be there for the victory of all of the games 3-2,2-1, these types of games ... We are going to have to tighten it," he I told.

McClellan and John Cooper (Tampa Bay), Peter DeBoer (San Jose), his coaching staff of Dave Tippett (Arizona) and Jay Wood Croft (Edmonton) is, we have to try a combination of different ahead of the tournament line It was.

One of the goals is, rather than a play for someone else, was to be more selfish to get the players.

"Many of the time, we can turn it into what would take an attack of opportunity," McClellan said.

Still, the Oilers coach, because there is very fast young talent of today, and then marvel as has become good.

Calgary Flames team North America Johnny Gaudreau will attend the media availability for the hockey World Cup in Toronto on September 15, 2016.

He credits the help and technology they learn the game. He also cited the courage and confidence of today's young people.

Mike Babcock of team Canada coach will be watching the team in North America given the presence of the Toronto of Matthews and Rielly.

"Well, we are every night too Please do not play them I support those people," Leafs coach spoke clearly. "When we play them, I'm just they I hope to lose, they hope a good play. "

EA Sports NHL 17 game simulation of the tournament, Canada is beating North America in three games in the finals, just to predict it.Anonymoushttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16262135385145173616noreply@blogger.com0
